Value of the Dollar Increases

4 April 2019 - Capital City, CW - Sec. Gorski made the announcement this afternoon that the board of directors of the Central Bank of Boshka voted unanimously to increase the value of the Boshkan Dollar. The demand of the dollar has increased significantly within the past three years. Currently, Boshka has been engaged in foreign exchange with China, the U.K, and the U.S.

The Boshkan dollar is currently equal to 0.50 USD. As of today, that has now increased 50%.

The economy's performance is at the heart of the decision to buy or sell dollars. A strong economy will attract investment from all over the world due to the perceived safety and the ability to achieve an acceptable rate of return on investment. Since investors always seek out the highest yield that is predictable or "safe," an increase in investment, particularly from abroad, creates a strong capital account and a resulting high demand for Boshka dollars.
