13 September 2018 - House 804 - If we are to continue to build Boshka for all it can be, we must first start with education. President Bannister will meet with the Secretary of Education, Dr. Robert Freeland, PhD. on Friday to discuss better pay for teachers and a more up-to-date curriculum for students. "We want to see our teachers getting the pay they deserve and our children getting the education they need to function as model citizens." said President Bannister. The two will discuss a new budget for the Department of Education that will focus on teacher salaries, education basics and the arts.
