AN AMENDMENT

1. Short title

This Amendment may be cited as "Amendment to Chapter 15, Article I, Section 16-15-120 of The Code of Laws".

Section 1.

For over a decade, Boshka has stood for equal rights for all. Our nations motto says it best, "All are Equal". This phrase means that no one may be discriminated against based on one's sex, race, nationality, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation.

Section 2.

The 1st Amendment of The Constitution of The Commonwealth of Boshka clearly states the aforementioned which in The Code of Laws, Chapter 15, Article I, Section 16-15-120 goes completely against. 

Section 3.

Chapter 15, Article I, Section 16-15-120 as is reads, "Whoever shall commit the abominable crime of buggery, whether with mankind or with beast, shall, on conviction, be guilty of felony and shall be imprisoned in the Penitentiary for five years or shall pay a fine of not less than five hundred dollars, or both, at the discretion of the court."

Section 4.

This Amendment will omit the following section from the aforementioned, "whether with mankind or...".

Section 5.

Shall this Amendment pass, Chapter 15, Article I, Section 16-15-120 will read, "Whoever shall commit the abominable crime of buggery, with beast, shall, on conviction, be guilty of felony and shall be imprisoned in the Penitentiary for five years or shall pay a fine of not less than five hundred dollars, or both, at the discretion of the court."

Section 6.

Upon the passing of this Amendment, it is to go into effect immediately.
